Slug-Go Rigging Demo

It is important that the Slug-Go is rigged properly to ensure its action. This means it must be rigged straight using Texposer hooks: no bends, no kinks. Download the PDF (Printer Friendly) document and follow our simple steps.

Thread the hook point into the head until the barb disappears into the plastic.   The point is now pushed outward on the center of the belly side of the Slug-Go.   Slide the Slug-Go up the shank to the offset bend, now rotate the hook 180 degrees and pull bend into the Slug-Go.   Using the hook as a measuring tool, draw an imaginary line through the Slug-Go. This is where the hook should enter and exit the lure. Note: The two indents on the lure are not rigging indicators.   Bend the lure (very important) pushing the point straight through the lure.   The complete texposed Slug-Go lure should look straight with no bends.
