The Megabass Lates is a very shallow running lure with a deep body profile similar to many common baitfish. Described as a 'surface power minnow roller bait' by the manufacturers, when retrieved at speed the lure will work no more than a foot beneath the surface with the most pronounced rolling action (through 90 degrees) we have seen on a bait of this type. Stop the lure and it will float up with a wiggle and fished slowly it will sit just beneath the surface. The Lates is weighted along it's underside almost entirely to give it stability and allow easy casting. The Lates will also flash intensely in the water and comes with high specification finishes and realistic downward looking eyes as is standard with most Megabass lures. The Lates weighs 16.8g and is 120mm in length.
