There's been a bit of hype about this product, we accept, since Fiiish won an innovation award for The Black Minnow in 2011. But, believe us, there is good reason. The benefits of the Black Minnow are it's ability to fish weedless using an offset hook and an articulated head. It is quite unusual for a shad type, soft plastic lure to combine these simple traits. Moreover, the Black Minnow is not in fact 'black' but the soft plastic body is manufactured in a tight range of very natural colours.

Our trials of the Black Minnow last year simply turned the fish on from the shore, created a frenzy in fast flowing water and delivered at depth from the boat. The Black Minnow comes in several sizes to suit a range of applications. It's component parts can also be purchased separately.
