Bass Lures incorporates a team of dedicated bass anglers who specialise in the importation of innovative saltwater and freshwater bass lures, fishing tackle, and lure fishing equipment from around the globe. Each and every lure on our site has been tested in the UK and is proven to catch fish in UK and Irish waters. These include highly innovative lures from Sebile, Lucky Craft, IMA, Delalande, Lunker City, Megabass, Sakura and Illex with new products being added on a daily basis to ensure you have the best equipment to give you the edge at all times.

We have witnessed considerable changes over the last 5 years in the interest in lure fishing in the UK and Ireland. The impetus for such changes have been led by the rest of Europe, Japan and the States where huge advances in innovation and technology have resulted in exciting new products arriving on the tackle market. Consequently our demands as anglers are increasing due to an insatiable appetite for knowledge and our approaches to lure fishing are becoming more defined as we seek out different ways of landing that prize fish.  We are learning that lure fishing is far more than just a cast and a retrieve but about our reading of the water, the weather, the birds, tidal movements and ultimately choosing the right lure for the job. It is so exciting to see more and more bloggers filling the world wide web with hugely important  stories of their lure fishing experiences and  sharing the tips and tricks that led them to the fish. As anglers, we are now collectively driving the lure fishing markets and each lure manufacturer is being pushed harder than ever before to keep the interest of their customers by innovating and re-inventing every year. More colours, more sizes, more types and techniques; better rods, reels and even the emergence of lure fishing specific publications.

Equally, our interest in lure fishing is assisting with conservation awareness (please join B.A.S.S) and the practice of catch and release which ultimately allows us to enjoy our wonderful fishing environments as a source of recreation and relaxation, much needed in todays frenetic pace of life.
